Meet Cardi

Cardi is a gentle, intuitive, and affectionate girl with a heart as big as her beautiful smile. She’s been on a journey of healing after losing her mom to cancer, and thanks to the dedicated support of her trainer, she has truly blossomed.

While Cardi once showed signs of protectiveness over her mom when she was ill, she’s worked hard to build trust and confidence. Today, she’s thriving—happily greeting children, men, strangers, and other dogs. She’s even learning that cats make pretty great friends, too.

Cardi is wonderfully well-mannered and easy on the leash, making walks a pleasure. She loves to be close to her people and soaks up any chance to snuggle. Compliment her with a “good girl,” and you’ll see her light up with pride. She’s also practicing her recall skills and growing braver every day.

Because of her loyal nature and sensitive heart, Cardi will thrive in a home that can provide calm structure, routine, and plenty of love. She’s the kind of companion who will gently rest her head in your lap after a walk or keep watch nearby as you read a book.
