Meet Cooper

Please read his entire bio!

Hi! My name is Cooper and I’m a handsome 5yo Mini Double Doodle (that means I am a mix of mini Labradoodle and mini Goldendoodle) and, I am looking for my forever home. My previous owners gave me lots of treats, even when I wasn’t on my best behavior and didn’t set boundaries for me so, for most of my life I thought I would get to make the rules. My foster mom tells me we have to work on being a good canine citizen. Did I mention I’m pretty smart and I know basic commands? I’m potty and crate trained, and familiar with a doggie door. I really am a sweet fella who has an incredibly cute wiggle butt when you scratch my back. I love my people but, I definitely need you to tell me how to be the best boy I can be. I love attention and, would love to have all the pets in the world! Cooper is a sweetheart that loves to snuggle with his humans and is looking for a home of his own.

Cooper will need appropriate guidance to maintain a respectful relationship with humans, and would do best in an adult only home. Please also consider the grooming routine and cost to care for a doodle. Cooper also becomes hyper focused with balls and squeaky toys would do best in an only dog home or with a dog that has minimal interested in toys. His playtime may also be limited because he suffers from tracheal collapse during exercise. Sometimes, I get anxious and may attempt to nip if you nudge me to do something I do not want to do. I will need continued training to be on my best doggy behavior and I prefer an adult only home.

Other fun facts about Cooper:

⁃ I don’t like the groomer.

⁃ I like short walks so I don’t over exert myself.

⁃ I’m super focused on squeaky toys and balls.

⁃ I like other respectful dogs that don’t want to compete for my toys.

– I do fine with cats, I just ignore them

Because of Cooper’s history, an adopter must be willing to sign a contract with one of Match Made in Heaven approved trainers who specialize in balanced training.

If you are interested in Cooper and, apply to adopt, please include the code STRUCTURE in the section that asks what dog you are interested in. Any application submitted, that does not contain this code will not be considered.
