Meet Ginger

Ginger is a sweet, shy, and sensitive lady… Unfortunately she had a rough life and spent close to two years in solitary confinement prior to joining us in the rescue. She is still super scared of humans, but does allow her foster to pet and pick her up. These are not things she is completely comfortable with yet and may never be fully ok with but we hope so.

She is doing great at her foster home and gets along well with up to twelve dogs in the home that vary in size from one pound to seventy pounds. We have learned that she is a hoarder of toys and sometimes blankets. She prefers to eat in bed and is very self sufficient. She takes her food bowl from her foster mom and takes it to her bed while having minimal spillage.

She will need a patient, committed, empathetic human(s) that will give her the space, training, and love to help her grow into her potential.

She is beginning interviews now so if you think you fit her criteria, she would love to meet you.
