Meet Jaxson

Hi! my name is Jaxson but you can call me Jaxman, Jackie- baby or Jax. I’m a 2 yo collie-shepherd mix that was picked up as a stray in California.

Sometimes my foster mom calls me a Velcro Dog, it may have something to do with being abandoned but I’m gaining more confidence every day. I mostly enjoy lounging around and occasionally chasing a squirrel in the back yard.

I get along well with my foster sister. She likes to play more than I do but that’s okay, it doesn’t upset me. I’m not big on toys but love an occasional Kong or Bully Stick. I really love the kind, respectful miniature humans and will sit patiently so they can love me. Did I say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be pet. It’s my favorite thing in the whole world!!

My foster mom says I have unique carpel joints. She took me to the vet and they x-rayed my wrists and said either I suffered trauma when I was a puppy or I was born this way. It doesn’t bother me now but someday I may have arthritis.

I would love to find a home that would love and snuggle me and maybe let me chill on your couch. Definite BONUS if you have squirrels in your back yard!
