Meet Olive

I am Olive! I am still just a puppy and because I was found wandering, my breed is not known although, the rescue thinks I have some Kelpie in me! Since I started my life as a street dog I am a little shy and need time to warm up to new people. I have never really had a person or family of my own. I love being with my foster mom. I am still learning to snuggle and accept belly rubs but, have decided I really like being pet! I love to be with my people and I will sit next to you on the couch and accept affection all day long. I enjoy playing with my foster fur siblings and, I would love it if my new family had another dog to play with but really I would be happy in any loving home! I am learning to play with my foster mom and I love my toys, especially the ones that make that squeaky noise! My foster mom says I am super smart and catch on to new things quickly. I do like my crate and my own safe space. When you open my crate door I will make way out to you and your couch. I like kids, adults, and other dogs. My foster mom only has dogs so I don’t know how I am around cats but due to my shy but curious nature I might not mind them. I am not afraid of the vacuum and just look at it as it goes by but, am curious as to what kind of contraption it is. I am very tidy and keep my crate and surroundings as clean as I can.

I will need a patient family since I can be shy and am still learning that humans are good. Once you have my trust I am yours forever! I am ready for my own family or person! Could that be you? Let’s find out!
