Smokey is such a good natured boy. He is getting along well with his foster sisters, 65 lbs and 18lbs. He may be new to indoor living, but goes potty outside most of the time.
He sleeps in his crate overnight. We have started walking on the leash and he has picked it up quickly.
Smokey will need training to improve his house manners and be the best dog he can be. He is so smart and willing to learn. While he gets along fine with the other dogs, I don’t think he needs another dog to be content. He loves his ears and head rubbed.
He can be jumpy so, for pets I have him jump on top of his crate to be closer in height, he loves this. He loves to lay on top of his crate. He will need a secured fenced yard and can easily clear 2 feet hight. I think he will do best with older children. He needs an active family, I think he would make a great jogging partner for someone. He has barked at the cat, but overall is very quiet. He is genuinely a happy happy boy.
